Recruitment refers to the overall process of attracting, selecting and appointing suitable candidates for jobs either permanent or temporary within an organization. Managers, human resource generalists and recruitment specialists are tasked with carrying out recruitment. Typically, a formal contract for services is negotiated, known in the industry as Recruitment Process Outsourcing. It may involve strategic consulting for talent acquisition, sourcing for select departments or skills, or total outsourcing of the recruiting function.
